Wow. Really? Whereabouts are you from?

I indeed escaped. I was running a track meet in high school. It was snowing and 10F, and we were running in our down jackets. Bonkers. By the time I got home, I had hypothermia. There were college applications on my desk. I looked down, saw San Diego State, and said to myself, "That's definitely where I'm going." Been in San Diego ever since. Don't miss those winters one bit.
