Thanks, and you're welcome. And the Ancient Bristlecone Pine Forest is one of my favorite places on the planet. I actually wrote a term paper in high school on Edmund Schulman, the scientist who discovered and proved that the bristlecones were vastly more ancient than anyone had previously known. I've been fascinated ever since. And the great thing about the forest is that it actually gets very few visitors. There is so much quiet and solitude there. And if you can go on a clear day with no moon, be there for the sunset and stay until the stars come out. It's spectacular. Truly. Finally, if you go in the fall, be sure to dress very warm. Even if its warm in the valley, it will be chilly or even very cold/freezing at 10,000 feet.
