If I could put my editor's hat on for a moment (having once worked for a major daily newpaper back in the day when that was a thing), I've been noticing many, many stories on Globetrotters that commit this offense: either no mention or a vague mention of location. Were this a traditional newspaper or magazine, the first reference would have read: Lindos, Isle of Rhodes, Greece. All following mentions would've just read Lindos. I very much enjoyed the article and photos, but I spent the entire piece trying to figure out where in Greece you were. And the crazy thing is that I've been to Rhodes at least a half dozen times. But there are after all 6,000 islands in Greece. I just read another piece in Globetrotters about some beautiful mountain lakes. It took some serious sleuthing and a series of Google searches to figure out that the story and photos were from a mountain range in Bulgaria. Who knew?
